The House race in Georgia's 6th district was another lost for Democrats who insist on running milquetoast candidates again Republican right-wingers. John Ossoft, the Democrat, was a middle of the road, fence riding candidate who inspired no one. His entire campaign was designed to dodge populist, progressive issues like raising the minimum wage, free college, tax reform, Medicare for all, and ending useless wars. He ran against a republican who was against all those issues and even said that working people don't deserve a living wage. I suppose she is an advocate of restoring slavery. She also is against women's rights, maybe she is not a woman?
The losses in the past four special elections, Kansas, Montana, South Carolina, and now Georgia shows that the Demo. Party doesn't have a message. People want to hear what you believe and are planning to do and centrist bullshit ain't it. They don't want to hear that you are not going to raise taxes, on the contrary they want to hear that you are going to make everyone pay their taxes, especially corporations. Corporations are hoarding trillions in overseas tax havens and avoiding billions in taxes. What do you think the deficit would be if they paid their fair share like working class stiffs? Do you think Medicare for all is a bad idea or would you rather pay outrageous premiums to greedy insurance companies for minimal coverage? Do you like to incur huge debts to maintain your standard of living or would a livable wage help? How about free college for your kids versus thousands in tuition debt? These are simple questions to ask voters but apparently Demo candidates to this date are afraid to ask them let alone propose programs to accomplish them. These are the issues that affect most Americans even dumb-ass racist republicans. But apparently the leaders of the DNC don't get it. They would rather cuddle-up to Wall Street and corporate donors and run candidates who sound more like republicans than deal with the real issues affecting real people.

Fired FBI Director, James Comey, completed the first step in disgracing our poor excuse for a leader, Donald J. Trump, yesterday. Comey proved that Trump is a pathological liar and a self-serving ignoramus. Comey also shed light on the misdeeds of AG Sessions and VP Pence both co-conspirators in Trump's yet unproven Russian collusion. Comey indicated that the Steele Dossier is being reviewed by and verified, to a large extent, by the FBI. Trump's pedophilia and sexual assault of young women will be verified and he will become the pariah of the GOP, if not already.
The next step is to "follow the money" which is the ultimate aim of Special Counsel Mueller. A key part of that investigation is Jared Kushner who was trying to setup a back-channel with the Russian bankers. Kushner's business ventures are hemorrhaging money. He is reportedly $200 to $300 million in debt right now and it is only going to get worst. The Russian oligarchs are the only ones who will front Kushner money since American banks won't touch him or The Donald. Mueller has the authority and resources to obtain tax records and financial records of the Trump and Kushner enterprises which undoubtedly show that the Russians have propped them up for years. The Russians own Trump and Kushner thanks to their lack of business acumen, greed and stupidity. Everything Trump has done in foreign policy has favored Russia or its collaborators. Trump is like a puppet on a string as for as the Russians are concerned and will dangle as long as the Russians find him and Jared useful. So don't be impatient about impeaching Trump over his actions against Comey. The money trail will be his and his administration's ultimate undoing. What we should be focusing on is getting out the vote for 2018 to turn the House and plan for Trump's impeachment proceedings to begin early 2019. Trump's downfall should be contingent on disgracing him completely; we don;t need another false god like Ronald Reagan. The news pundits spend hours trying to explain the Trump White House but they never get to the real issue. Donald Trump and his family are only interested in promoting their own interests, in this case their egomania and greed. Trump has not divested from his business interests, or shown his tax returns, and has promoted only policies where he can benefit (Keystone pipeline, for example).
Trump has made a concerted effort not to criticize Russia whose oligarchs and banks have funded his ill-conceived projects. One bank, in particular, VneshEconomBank is on the sanctions list established by Obama and other allies. Why do you think he wants to remove the Russia sanctions? His son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has had undisclosed, until recently, meetings with the CEO of the bank. Kushner's New York developments are in financial trouble and VneshEconomBank, or VEB, is one of its financial backer. Kushner is also an infamous slumlord in New York which hints at his greed. Kushner tried to establish a backdoor with Russia not to pass secrets but to get money. ABC News reported recently that Kushner is $1.3 billion in debt. And don't think for a second that Donald did not approve of that! Today, Donald pulls out of the voluntary Paris Climate Accord, a move that benefits oil producers, Russia and Saudia Arabia, remember the $110 billion arms deal of last week. Do you think the Saudis may have suggested that Trump should pull out of the accord? And then there is Ivanka who runs slave labor sweat shops in China and elsewhere to produce her overpriced merchandise. After receiving licensing deals in China, Donald's criticism of China has cooled. All the talk about Trump playing to his base is bullshit. Trump has a following of suckers who don't even grasp the policies of Trump. Trump is playing to his pocketbook. He is too stupid to be a spy. In fact, he is being controlled by spies because of his greed and stupidity. His usefulness to those handlers depends on him doing their bidding or else they cut off the money flow. Trump and his family are losers and now they are traitors due to their incompetence and greed, end of story. |
