America's commercial media has developed a love affair with two democrats, Beto O'Rourke, the losing Senate candidate from Texas, and Stacey Abrams, the losing governor candidate from Georgia. Why?
Let us start with O'Rourke. He served six years in the House representing the El Paso region of Texas. He lost the Senate race against Ted Cruz, the most disgusting and weak-kneed man in the Senate besides Mitch McConnell. He tries to portray himself as a left-populist who unfortunately speaks only boilerplate principles and non-specific gibberish. According to a recent New York Times article, O'Rourke said: “A single-payer ‘Medicare for all’ program is the best way to ensure all Americans get the health care they need.” But during his Senate campaign, he carefully avoided those words, calling instead for “universal, guaranteed, high-quality health care for all.” O'Rourke lost by 200,00 votes in his Texas race to pathetic Ted Cruz who represents no one but the one percent. He also voted with other republicans in the House thirty percent of the time in support of TRUMP! His claim to fame for the commercial media is that he was able to raise more money in election history for his race. The media seemed to overlook the fact that Beto O’Rourke is the #2 recipient of oil/gas industry campaign cash in the entire (link)Congress.” Ms. Abrams lost a hotly contested race to a closet Klansman in Georgia governor's race. She performed well considering the voter suppression tactics utilized by the secretary of state and now governor of Georgia. She ran a progressive campaign in a state that is changing demographically but in which many whites are still fighting the Civil War. But how does that make her a solid contender for the presidency. She has served honorably as a state legislator and is known for her independence from special interests. She is obviously a better candidate than anything that the GOP has now or in the future, especially, when compared to the traitorous conman now in the presidency. In the final analysis, I can't support either of these candidates because they lost to inferior candidates. Let them win in their states and then lets talk. Also, if I have a choice, I would prefer Abrams who at least stands by her convictions!

Hello, gentle folks out there who are glorifying in the Trump Kleptocracy. It has been a few weeks since I brought you the great news on how Trump is Making America Great Again" or as the libtards claim "Fucking America UP".
First, the great "dealmaker" has caused farmers to lose $1.9 billion in revenue thanks to his buffoonish trade talks with China which has resulted in China finding new suppliers for farm products. But farmers should not fear, since Trump is going to send them welfare checks for not growing food anyway. (Or were they already receiving those?) Second, the "great brain" has succeeded in raising the national debt to $22 trillion thanks to his $1.5 trillion tax giveaway to corporations and the rich. I am sure the rest of America will enjoy paying off that debt over the next, oh, century. But the news gets better, tax refund checks are expected to drop at least 8.4% thanks to closing loopholes on the middle class. Third, on the legal front, the "rat", Michael Cohen, has begun telling of checks written by Trump while president to payoff a porn star. He also squealed about possible bank fraud, insurance fraud, tax fraud and other "fake news". But Trump is not concerned since his troll, Attorney General William Barr, will squash Mueller's report and other "witch hunt" allegations. Fourth, the administration has successfully placed more unfit judges(racists, anti-LGBTQ, and anti-abortionists) on the federal bench which should ensure the perpetuation of second class citizenship for women and minority populations. Fifth, the administration has successfully placed a coal lobbyist at the head of EPA, and several other incompetents in key agencies which oversee environment, resources, and quality of life issues in his headlong pursuit of making America a shithole. Finally, "fearless leader" had an important summit with the North Korean leader. Nothing was accomplished, but the photo ops were outstanding! |
