The hapless Speaker of the House, John Boehner is about to lose his job as speaker. Why, because Mr. Boehner will have to go to Democratic House Leader, Nancy Pelosi, to make a deal to keep the US government from defaulting on its debt. Once he makes that deal the fools in his House Tea Party caucus will vote him out of his speaker-ship. There is no way that the GOP House of Clowns will pass the Senate CR when it arrives Sunday in the House. They have already proposed a stupid plan for President Obama to agree to for them to pass the debt ceiling resolution. Obama is not going to agree to it and neither will the Senate. 

So as a result, Mr. Boehner is screwed. The third in line for the presidency is being blackmailed by a bunch of highly-educated fools who know nothing about governing and don't care about anything except raising money from the lowly educated fools, racists, homophobes, and  Bible-toting hypocrites in their districts. Mr. Boehner can only stop a government shutdown by making a deal with Pelosi and she has no reason to compromise with him. What will he do?

The House GOP just voted to cut food stamps (SNAP) by $39 billion giving the poor whites (PW) who voted for the House GOP members, especially in the South and other Red States, a victory. Just think you PWs have a victory against wasteful government spending, you know all those working poor, small children, disabled, seniors, crippled veterans. You all won. You have declared for the world to see that taking food out of the mouths of children and others is the Christian way in America and is another example of great American Exceptionalism. But I think there is a problem with claiming victory too soon. 

For example, 59% of all food stamp recipients are white (26,550,000) and 28% are black as of 2011 according to the Atlanta Conservative. Now, I know everyone thinks that the main recipients of food stamps are black and that the House GOP was stopping those freeloading black parasites from stealing our hard-earned tax dollars. But the facts don't bare that out. So for you fools who think that the vote was for you, wrong. The House vote is another example of them lessening the social safety net with the ultimate goal of shrinking government to a level where they can justify lowering taxes for their rich political donors. 

President Obama outfoxed the chicken hawks and phony patriots Saturday with his announcement that he was going to let the US Congress vote on his proposal to attack Syria for gassing its own people. It was a great political move because the people urging him to attack were not honest brokers in the first place,. Let's face it, do you think John McCain and the other defense industry lackeys give a damn about dead Syrian Muslims (men, women or children)? Do you think the so-called libertarian fool, Senator Rand Paul, is anti-war and anti-interventionist. The idiot doesn't even know where Syria is located and surely his stupid, racist Tea Party supporters don't.

President Obama talked about the moral imperative to attack a monster like Assad for gassing his own. He explained about the useless United Nations which has as much moral fiber as a rock. Their inability to act on any crisis is exacerbated by the Russians and Chinese who certainly lack moral fiber and those two countries' direct financial and military support for Syria. 

Yes, President Obama made the right decision. He was being urged to act by dishonest brokers claiming their outrage at Assad but really echoing their political donors wishes. But his decision will be even more revealing when the American people and the rest of the world will see just how hypocritical and cowardly the US Congress is on the issue. One of two results are possible of course. One, they will vote to approve Obama's plan to attack Syria with so many limitations that the plan itself is not feasible thereby increasing the chances of failure and further involvement. Which is what the GOP wants because fighting wars benefits their defense industry benefactors and they don't really want Obama to succeed anyway. Second, they will not approve a plan because it does not go far enough into getting us into another war in the Middle East. The main one complaining about an inadequate plan will be John McCain and his "bitch" Lindsey Graham who has always wanted a war against Iran, anyway.
