America, A banana republic?

With the election of President-elect Donald Trump is America destined to become a banana republic? Will our political democracy be totally handed over to the greedy oligarchs and their trolls, the GOP? 

Dumber-than-dog-shit Americans voted for this clown ignoring his promises to kill Obamacare, believing he would bring jobs back, and nodding in blind stupidity to his racism, misogyny, and xenophobia. They screamed in joy as Nazi salutes were offered and mocked minorities who were stupid enough to attend his rallies. It never crossed their feeble, uninformed minds that he and the GOP would love to create a Third World banana republic out of the U.S. In fact, it is probably a good guess that the buffoons voting for Trump are ignorant of what a BR is. According to Wikipedia, BR is defined as follows: 

More generally, it is a derogatory term for a country that is considered to have a weak economy, a dishonest or cruel government, and public services that do not work. In economics, a banana republic is a country operated as a commercial enterprise for private profit, effected by a collusion between the State and favored monopolies, in which the profit derived from the private exploitation of public lands is private property, while the debts incurred thereby are a public responsibility. Such an imbalanced economy remains limited by the uneven economic development of town and country, and tends to cause the national currency to become devalued paper-money, rendering the country ineligible for international-development credit.

Some examples:

1. A Congress that does not legislate or support any policies that benefit the citizens.

2. A government that offers subsidies and enables businesses that  defraud and conceal malpractice.

3. A government that lies the country into wars, supports dictators, ignores human rights violations, etc.  

Just a few example but I am sure you get the idea. If not, wait about six months into the Trump Administrtion.
