Bundy is the gop normal

The real character of the GOP was finally exposed yesterday when the faux hero and thief, Cliven Bundy, opened his mouth and exposed to the world his ignorance and racism. But there is no reason to be shocked by Mr. Bundy he  is the norm of what  represents the GOP base: senior citizen-aged white working class men and women most without college or formal education and working in low skill jobs, farming, ranching, or small business owners. This doesn't describe all of them however because you have those who were raised by educated racists parents who have trained their offspring, knowingly or not, to be racists. You know those who during discussions at the dinner table or family gatherings start describing their experiences with the "Negro" but of course using the other n-word. 

So no one should be shocked at Mr. Bundy, a thief, who refuses to pay to graze his cattle and tries to mask his thief as an infringement upon his rights as a citizen. Mr. Bundy, a man who has received federal subsidies for years as a rancher, etc. feels put upon when told to pay his bills. The fact that he is a racist is not big news and he will never admit that he is a racists because he was raised that way. His views are his beliefs derived from misjudged experiences with the "Negro" and/or based on what he has been told by other racists with the same warped minds. 

The enlighten media has focused on why other Republicans who supported his thievery have hid in the corner afraid to denounce his racism. They can't because they believe the same way that he does. Their base believes the same way that Mr. Bundy does and what they all have in common is a gross cowardice to confront their ignorance and racism which serves as a shield to promote their agendas. Mr. Bundy's inappropriate outburst may embarrass himself but it reinforces like-minded people to favor Republicans because the Republicans, leaders and promoters like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, make money off of them and in the end that is more important than some pesky political correctness.
