The Florida Republican Latino outreach director, Pablo Pantoja, resigned his position after he finally realized the racist Republican Party was talking about him in their anti-immigration pseudo report authored by a Harvard educated racist. After five years of racist dogma directed at Obama by the GOP and its presidential candidate, Mr. Pantoja finally realized that the GOP thought even less of him and his heritage. The only question is what took him so long to see the truth. Was it the Heritage report or maybe it was the immigration bill put forth by another racist Repub that wanted to allow immigration reform only for those working as housekeepers, gardeners, dishwashers, and nurse aides; in other words lower paying slave jobs were the only jobs Latinos were capable of handling since according to the Heritage report Latinos are not very intelligent.
Is it that Mr. Pantoja thought the Repubs were his friends? Did he think he could rise in the party-of-hate to a high position as an operative who convinced Latinos to vote against their own best interests and that the party was their friend? Or was it because one of his party friends called him a "wetback"? Whatever Mr. Pantoja's reason for switching to the Democratic Party, I am sure that he has felt the same embarrassment that many former black Repubs have who sold their souls to the party and realized that they had made a mistake. Whatever Mr. Pantoja reasons were, he now realizes that the foundation of the Republican Party is hate, fear, and exploitation of the weak and vulnerable. Maybe, now he will turn his efforts to informing his Latino brethren the truth about the Repubs and work hard to ensure their electoral defeats in the future.
