montana shows they will never learn!!

Tuesday, May 26, the voters of Montana elected a liar and criminal to the House. Greg Gianforte is a rich republican who could care less about the subsistence ranchers and farmers of Montana. Gianforte, funded by Big Oil and other special interests, the people of Montana made him lone the representative to DC to continue the GOP assault on America. These people voted for a republican after watching one hundred and fifty days of the Trump Administration's gross incompetence, racist Muslim Bans, tax cut proposals to benefit the rich, GOP proposals to gut the ACA, EPA, public education, send their sons/daughters back to war, and selloff the country's infrastructure.

Did I miss anything?

Do you have an explanation for such assine behavior? I doubt that anyone can explain such stupidity. Look at Kansas!  DetlefK at Demo. Underground stated that they don't care and he made some great points. I think it goes deeper; they are too stupid to care. They cannot "connect the dots" between their economic and social well being and the policies of the party of traitors who they continually vote for. 

For example in Montana, there are thousands of streams and rivers which are now thanks to curtailing the EPA are liable to be polluted by the oil, gas, and dying coal industry. Waterways which they use for drinking, fishing, vacationing, etc. Maybe they like unclean water. Maybe they don't mind lead, arsenic, or mercury in their drinking water. But they support a candidate and a party who doesn't give a damn about their concerns. How do you define that behavior? Maybe they have already drank too much contaminated water and are suffering from brain damage or maybe as Nance Greggs said at DU, they are just too stupid.

Whatever the case might be, it certainly does not bode well for this country moving forward. As an infamous old Soviet Union leader, Nikita Khrushchev, once said, "we will defeat you from without firing a shot." With a population of fools, I think he was prophetic.
