Racists always expose themselves, sooner or later

Donald Trump stood at a podium yesterday and claimed that white supremacists were "good people" and that both the Nazis and the anti-Nazis were both guilty of violence in Charlottesville, Va. For  the past twenty-four hours media pundits have been trying to determine whether Trump is a racist. I will answer that for you. FUCK Ya!! 

Donald Trump is a racist and his history proves it. More than forty years ago he was fined millions for racial discrimination in renting his properties in New York (click). In 1989, Trump sponsored ads claiming that the Central Park Five (all minorities) were guilty. Even after the five were exonerated by DNA evidence, Trump still proclaimed they were guilty (click). Trump claims that Latinos are rapist, he reviles Muslims, berates women, and criticizes the disabled. He spent seven years making racist assertions about President Obama's birthplace and claiming that he was not legitimate. 

He was elected by voters supposedly disgusted and angry about their economic status, jobs, and Washington's dysfunction. Post - election analyses have shown that many of Trump's voters were supporting him because of his racial dog whistles. And these same voters supported the Republican Party for the same reasons. The support of Trump and the GOP is a benefit of the southern strategy initiated by Nixon and moved forward by Ronald Reagan. 

Even today, you see GOP House members campaigning with the Confederate flag(click), opposing civil rights, voting rights, and maintaining their silence when confronted with racist outburst by their constituents. Steve Scalise of Lousiana was documented speaking at white supremacist rallies(click).

So, there is no confusion about Trump and the GOP for that matter. They are racists and have used racism for decades to win elections playing on the ignorance of their voters while robbing them of their economic security. This is the reality. Just be patient more will be exposed.
