For those of you who can do basic math, the deficit will rise one trillion dollars this year and the national debt reach Twenty Trillion Dollars or $249,000 for each American family, congratulations! (See article on home page). November 2016, sixty-three million Americans voted into office not just a criminal and a traitor in Trump, they also elected a party of hypocrites who claim to be responsible budget overseers and seeking to limit government spending. What they got was a group of thieves who have long believed that the working class were suckers and should pay for every war, disaster, and corporate welfare.
In December 2017, this august group of thieves passed a tax scam that lower the taxes to 21% on corporations, must of whom paid no taxes anyway and made their outrageous profits on slave labor, environmental destruction, and lax government regulation. Even before the scam was passed, we had natural disasters in Texas, California, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and Florida. All of these caused tens of billions of dollars in damage. And let us not forget the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq which waste a billion or two dollars per day. And then there is the opioid crisis which kills a hundred people per day and costs the nation seventy-eight billion, annually according to the CDC. Did I mention infrastructure which needs about two trillion dollars or more in improvement? Now, anyone with a thumbnail of intelligence would forgo lowering taxes and would possibly consider making an effort to collect taxes from corporate tax evaders like Apple, GE, and countless others, or even raising them. How about ending loopholes, or stopping tax deductions for offshoring American jobs, or even restructuring trade deals that protect American jobs? I don't mean to be a radical anti-capitalist but it seems to me that commonsense should have prevailed. But as I have heard many times: commonsense is not that common. So as a result in this monumental display of governing incompetence by the clown-in-office, Trump, and his sycophants in the Congress, America is broke and the responsibility lies with the sixty-three million fools who elected this garbage into office and the ninety million who did not even bother to vote because they believe voting makes no difference, and both sides are the same. REALLY! Your credit card is past due, fools.
