Why Rubio, again?
As the 2016 election enters its final weeks, one question keeps haunting me: why would anyone vote to reelect Sen. Marco Rubio? In 2010, I wondered why anyone would elect him into the Senate based on his past record of malfeasance, embezzlement, poor judgement, and corruption. (See Business Insider). Now six years later this buffoon is running for reelection after he stated publicly that he did not like being a senator and missed more workdays than anyone else in the Senate. It appears to me that his only reason for being in political office is to scam people out of their money to support a bogus lifestyle.
Rubio's policies, if you can call them that, are based on what his donors say they are. He has demonstrated no understanding of foreign or domestic policy. He has adopted all the standard voodoo economic policies prescribed by the GOP insiders (Washington Post) and shown no real backbone by changing positions to suit whoever disagrees with him. (Wall Street Journal)
And yet, Rubio is leading/tied in his reelection campaign. A man lacking in substance, moral fiber, integrity, and knowledge is leading/tied his opponent (a Democrat in Name Only) Patrick Murphy. Maybe it demonstrates that voting for a known piece of shit is better than taking a risk on a new piece of shit.
